Called Travis in the evening. Cameron come out first thing in the morning. Checked out the tankless water heater to see what needed to be done. Jerry came the next day and installed it. Very prompt and professional. Jerry worked in a very timely manner. He did an excellent job! Cleaned up nicely. Calls and appointments were kept on time. So happy to have hot water again. We hired Central Plumbing to replace an old cooper refrigerator water line that had been installed in the 1980s. Travis provided us with a reasonable estimate and sent Brett and Gabriel to do the job. They did an outstanding job throughout the replacement process. They installed a Pex line, were clean, courteous, professional, hard working, and nice. Brett asked great questions about how we wanted the line to be installed, they were diligent to address our concerns and requests. We are very happy with the finished product and will call them for any future plumbing needs. Thank you all, including Susan their administrative assistant who scheduled our job. Called to get two new toilets installed in our home, Susan was very professional and helped get us scheduled for the installation a few days later. We've had Travis and Cameron out for a few jobs and they have always been stellar. Their response time is minimal and the quality of their work is excellent. We have referred them to our neighbors and they too have been very satisfied with the quality of the work and the reasonable prices.
Called in the morning after discovering leak on the refrigerator water line, wood floors were warping, valve under the sink would not stop and had to turn off the water main. Out of 3 companies called, they were the most responsive and professional and was on site completing the repairs that afternoon! 1 of the 3 companies never called back. I will use Central Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.
I’ve used Central Plumbing for a few years and I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with them. I had such a refreshingly reasonable and effective service call with Central Plumbing that I just want to give a shout out to Susan and Valentin for their quick, courteous, and professional help. I had a problem with a water heater that was installed about 18 months previously (by someone else) that had developed a noxious odor in the hot water. I had a different plumber come out 6 months ago who recommended flushing the tank and changing the anode, but that didn't help. Susan took my call, listened to the issues, and sent Valentin out the next morning to investigate. After he heard all the details, including the fact that we are on a well, he suggested a simple fix--turn up the temperature on the water heater to kill rather than propagate any bateria, etc., in the water. It worked like a charm! And it was a fast, simple, inexpensive solution (which are words I have never before used to describe a plumbing repair situation, lol!). Many thanks to the smart and caring crew at Central Plumbing, and I will certainly call them first next time I need help :-)

If you are needing service for a clogged toilet, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! My kids and I are here visiting Pismo and staying in my brother’s house. My poor child had a very difficult bowel movement that clogged the toilet. I tried for at least an hour using 2 different plungers with no success. I am here alone and started panicking a bit. Once I called this place a woman named Susan answered the call. She was more helpful than she probably knew. She was extremely compassionate, very helpful, and just KIND! She not only calmed my nerves down but she was able to relate to my situation and just assured me that they could help me! She also worked hard to give me a very reasonable price as again I was here alone with my kids. She sent out a wonderful plumber named Brett who was just awesome. Very kind and saved the day! My hero’s today! Thank you all so much for everything! Give this place a call!!!

We had a leak in our irrigation system and called Travis, but I got Susan. She was extremely helpful and promptly set up an appointment to fix the problem. Shortly thereafter they sent out Tyler and he could not have been more helpful. He identified the problem and capped off the leak and we had water again...Highly recommend.

I had smoke coming out of my garbage disposal and when I called and explained the situation they sent a crew within two hours to replace the garbage disposal. They were very thorough and efficient and cleaned up when they completed the job and the fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
My water heater went out over the weekend, and the whole team at Central Plumbing worked magic to get a new heater installed and working by the end of the day on Monday. It was a relief to hear someone on the phone genuinely wanting to get me hot water that same day. The price was very reasonable for the quality of heater and the speed of the installation. If you have an emergency need, or if you just need a quality plumbing company, these are the people to call.

Had a clogged bathroom drain and tried to clear it. Didn’t have success at all. I called Central plumbing (11:40 am) and described the problem. I was told that they had a plumber in Morro Bay and they could schedule him to do the job. He, Valentine, arrived at 1:30 pm. He assessed the job, gave a quote, and proceeded with the repair. He promptly cleared the pipe and cleaned the area. Very quick response and repair for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Central planning
Our tenant reported the water heater was leaking quite a bit. The management company called Central Plumbing to go handle it. Susan at Central Plumbing was amazing! She was professional and kept me in the loop as I requested. They had the job done within several hours. The water heater could have burst completely had they not gone out right away. We could have had way more expenses like water cleanup, damaged personal property, hotel room for the tenant etc. We were very happy with their service and professionalism! We definitely recommend them to others.

Tyler was amazing. He kept calm in the face of opening a wall in my apartment and a swarm of carpenter ants came out. By the thousands. It wasn’t his job but he stayed the entire time until pest control came… trying to stop the ants from spreading all over my apartment. Amidst the infestation he still did his assessment and job to look for the leak that brought him out in the first place. He is a hero. Susan who is the best support and communicates effectively about scheduling and maintenance. She kept me laughing and showing kindness in the face of this nightmare. I had a bathtub that wasn’t draining properly and called like 10 plumbers in the area. Travis gave me the best price out of all of them and was able to come quickly. They arrived on time and even took their shoes off before coming inside. They quickly found what was blocking my drain and fixed the problem. I’m pretty sure they even cleaned before they left cause the bathtub was spotless. I’ll definitely call Travis next time I need a plumber!

Travis responded immediately to an older lady with a mysterious leak in her also older manufactured home. He finally isolated the problem of a leak inside the shower wall. He did a very logical and neat job of reworking the water lines without destroying the shower itself. He and his helper completed this in one morning and his bill was a very fair price. I much appreciate his friendly demeanor and patience while identifying and fixing this scary problem.

Very happy customer here!! I'm an old fart (over 70) and I haven't seen this kind of customer service for MANY years! Kudos to Mr. Travis Brown - owner and just unbelievable businessman! I called with a busted and leaking water heater. In my past, this is just something that a homeowner would have to deal with about every 6 to 8 years and I would go to Home Depot and get one and put it in. Nowadays, an expansion tank, earthquake strapping, drain pan, and permit are required. While not impossible; what a pain in the butt! Just for giggles, I believe I e-mailed one of the first companies that I found with an A plus BBB rating and a license with no "hits" at CSLB.ca.gov. Central Coast came up. So, I e-mailed, hoping they would get back to me the following week. You see, I live in a smallish berg on the Central Coast of California and all the businesses are usually busy servicing the surrounding "big cities" like Santa Barbara since they pay more. Well, within 1/2 hr. the owner, himself, emails me back and we set up an appointment for that very same day! Not only that, the guy is there in just and hour or so! OK, usually the reason you might get service that quickly in this area is because they are terrible and are just not used by anyone. Well, let me tell you, this group, this team is vastly different! I now feel honored to have found them! My service tech, Valentin, arrived at my door with a huge smile on his face. He knew exactly what my problem was and he was there to help! I asked for a quote to replace my 50 gallon, gas water heater. No problem, he was ready to get started. He asked if I had considered a tankless system since now would be the time to change. Well, I had considered this option but thought it would be cost prohibitive. He pointed out the rebates currently available so I let him also give me a quote for that unit. Then, he was observant enough to notice that my home did have a recirc system at one time but had been abandoned. He just so happened to have a tankless option that contained a built-in recirc pump. What the heck, give me quote for that too!! So, short story long, we got a new tankless, recirculating water heater sitting on our garage wall!!! But, note, it was up and running that same day I first called!! It works like a champ and Travis helped me apply for the rebate money I was now eligible for!!! OMG!! Find a better TEAM to deal with, I dare ya.!!

Not cheap, but reasonable under the circumstances, and plumbing isn't ever cheap work to have done. The lady who answered our call and scheduled the appointment was nice and efficient, and found a slot that got a plumber here in just a few hours. The plumber arrived on time, assessed the situation and told me what the cost would be up front. He fixed our issue in short order. He, too, was pleasant and efficient, neither brusk nor rushed. Central Plumbing was recommended by our former go-to plumber, who has left the area, and I think they will be our new go-to company.

Bret was early, which I appreciated. He asked questions to determine the problem and the repair plus included an estimate of the cost. He completed the work in reasonable time and explained what he did and what additional things he checked. I was impressed by his explanations and his professional manner. He parked his large van in an out of the way location to keep the driveway open, something not all vendors do. He's my go to plumber from now on. Susan was very professional and knowledgeable when discussing an appointment. She provided several options in a pleasant speaking voice and gave me time to ask questions. It's clear they both know their job and the value of good customer service. Both are in my contacts lists now.

Central Plumbing came out and changed a built-in shower valve and installed a new toilet for us. Nice fellas, professional, did clean work. Jerry and Gabe spent over half a day removing and replacing two utilities in two different bathrooms. They were courteous and conscientious while they dealt with our problems. Good job!
I was referred to Central Plumbing by my neighbor after discovering our main water line was leaking somewhere underground. When I called in, I spoke with Susan who was exceptional in explaining the likely process to find and repair the leak. This included getting a leak detection specialist out to the house and she’d call the owner to have him reach out to us. Travis came over from another job site within an hour to assess our situation, confirmed we’d need the detection service and we went from there. The leak was located and a two man crew from Central Plumbing got to the house as scheduled, had to jack hammer out a section of concrete walkway, dig down nearly four feet to get to the water line, make the repairs, refill the hole and clean up the area! It was a long workday for them and they did a terrific job! I highly recommend Travis & his top notch team at Central Plumbing!

Sitting for g'kids when the garbage disposal went kaput. Sink backed up and was starting to leak into cabinet. Called Central Plumbing, and Travis sent Taylor and Brian out to assist. They took old disposal apart, assessed the clog, and recommended a replacement. Had the parts on hand, installed the works, and were done in approx one hour/twenty. Very impressed with their workmanship and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Had a major water leak in my brand new home. Called Central Plumbing INC and Travis came out within minutes to troubleshoot.He discovered the leak that was caused by faulty/poor plumbing assembly by the home builder.. I woke up to all cold water on Friday and my new water heater was up and running by the next Tuesday. Central Plumbing came to the rescue when my kitchen flooded. They were able to remove a faulty under sink instant water heater that had outlived its service and reattached the drain hose on my dishwasher. I had leaking sink handles and “running “ toilets, they fixed them all. They also replaced my kitchen faucet which was clogged and running low pressure. My outdoor hose bibs were leaking and they replaced those too. The team was quick to respond, professional, and worked quickly. My home feels restored! When I need a plumber I will absolutely call on them again.
Travis first came out one evening to clear the drain line for our kitchen and laundry room. The pipes are old, with a small diameter and not the easiest to deal with. He stayed later than he intended in order to make sure they were clear. Since then, we have had him or his employees back for various plumbing needs. Travis is a great guy and you can tell he cares and makes sure to do the job right. When any other guys on his crew have come out they have been awesome as well - friendly and proficient at there jobs.
I had a knocking problem with my plumbing, had another plumber out three times with cost but no result. Travis trouble shot the problem and was able to fix it. He was very responsive and great at follow up.

On February 21, 2025, I contacted Central Plumbing Inc., and requested their service in opening a clogged drain at my residence in Atascadero. I was shocked when they said they had unit in my area to do the job. I contacted multiple Plumbers and they were booked for days out. Central Plumbing arrived and put 120 ft of a drain snake/auger in the clean out and still couldn’t clear the drain clog. Travis (owner) responded from Grover Beach with additional 30 ft of snake drain/auger and cleared the clogged drain at 150 feet. Their fee for the job was more than reasonable and they responded very quickly.
I called central plumbing and they responded quickly to an urgent issue with my daughters water heater and replaced it with a new one. I would like to thank the technicians Brian and Tyler for the efficient and quality work they performed and great customer service! We definitely will be a returning customer if ever needed.

My experience with Travis and Central plumbing has been possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with plumbers. Travis was kind enough to talk me down and avoid the expense of an emergency visit. It was after hours and my kitchen sink was erupting with a backflow of water. He took my call and explained how to turn off the water supply on my purifier under the sink and assured me he’d send help to fix it next day. I was originally connected with Central Plumbing through my Property Manger and now am a loyal returning customer. From the scheduling with Susan to the actual repair of my plumbing, everything was a breeze! I live in an older place that shares old small pipes with the neighboring unit. Unfortunately, the neighboring unit also has a habit of flushing things down the toilet that clog and then back up my toilet and shower. This has happened on multiple separate occasions and every time Central Plumbing has gotten out to me so quickly! Everyone was so so so kind and professional. Travis the owner and Matt/the other plumbers always took the time to explain to me each thing they were doing to check and fix the problem. They actually clean up after themselves too! Susan has even called me the next day to make sure everything went well and that I was pleased with their service. Talk about amazing customer service! They truly make a shitty situation better!
